Blog Update — A Little Life Lately from the WitchPit

To my Coven,

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, and I want to start with a sincere apology for the silence.

Running a small independent business means juggling markets, trends, restocks, website tweaks, trader events, family life, and — until recently — another job. Sometimes the cauldron boils over, and the first thing to slip is social updates.

The truth is: the past while has been incredibly tough. Without diving into details I can’t publicly share, I found myself in a position where raising safeguarding concerns led to treatment that no one should ever face. When a manager’s behaviour crossed into what I can only describe as gross misconduct, I had to make the hardest call — to resign. To protect my mental health, my boundaries, and my sense of self. The fallout hasn’t been easy.

My mental health took a severe hit, and I’ve spent weeks feeling dissociated from everything and everyone. In a strange way, I think that distance was the only way to survive it and work through the shock.

But — and here’s the part I’m clinging to — WitchPit has been my anchor. My distraction. My creative refuge. My reminder that I’m building something powerful, something mine.🕯️

And on a brighter note: I’ve accepted a new position that I’ll be working alongside WitchPit and family life (and all the glorious chaos that comes with both). A fresh start, a healthier environment, and a chance to rebuild some stability.

This shift has also pushed me to think more deeply about WitchPit’s long‑term future — where it’s going, what it’s becoming, and how it will grow beyond markets and into something more permanent, more rooted, more magical. 😉

Thank you for sticking with me.

Thank you for supporting the WitchPit through the quiet patches and the storms.

There’s more to come — and I’m finally feeling more ready to step back into the light.

Blessed Be,

VixSin 🖤
